Our Story

Interesting background about Chef Trish, born in Soc Trang, Vietnam and grew up in Houston, Texas. Chef Trish and her family immigrated to the United States by boat since the Vietnam War. Mixed with different cultural background from Vietnamese, Chinese, Korean, Cambodian, and French; Chef Trish implemented her cultural background into her menu from pho, Vietnamese Crepes, Korean BBQ w/ Kimchi baguette, Seared Ahi tuna Salad w/ Strawberry & Jackfruit served with citrus ginger dressing, etc. Along with 12 years background in the wine and spirits industry, Chef Trish designed The Smokin’ Hot Asian Kitchen in a modern designed with fun traditional dishes with the twist of Asian fusion. Furthermore, The Smokin’ Hot has a Poke Bar, where you can customized and build your Poke Bowl the way you like it. So come and dine with us!
